TOTAL SALE: 64 Bulls averaged $3600, a record high sale average. BREED AVERAGES 42 Angus averaged $3,730 15 Simmentals averaged $3,235 7 Red Angus averaged $3,600 Bulls from this year’s sale are going to: Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois. Specific Breed Information: Biddick, Inc., Livingston, WI had the top selling animal in the sale, Angus Bull, Lot # 33, sired by KG Solution 0018. Genex Cooperative, Inc. Shawano, WI, purchased the bull for $8,400. Hermann Wolters, Wolters Farms, Inc., Cuba City, WI consigned the second-high selling Angus bull, lot # 15. Genex Cooperative, Inc. also purchased this bull, a VAR Discovery 2240 son for $7000. Allan Arndt, Double A Simmentals, Janesville, WI consigned the top selling Simmental bull. Simmental Lot # 96 a DBLA U 861 son, sold to Arlo Prahl, Wausau, WI. Prahl paid $3,900 for the bull. Simmental Lot # 103 was the second high selling Simmental bull in the sale. Pleasant View Farm, Josh and Gretchen Kamps, Belmont, WI purchased that bull a JBS Big Casino 336Y son for $3,800. Vulture Hollow Simmentals, Bob and Mary Roenneburg, Blue Mounds, WI were the proud consignors of the bull. Jim Gibson, Elgin, IA consigned the top selling Red Angus bull in the test for $4,100. Melvin Gehrke from Platteville, WI is the proud new owner of the LIC Mission Statement P27. The second high selling Red Angus bull, Lot #79 was sold to Mike Schumacher, Johnson Creek, WI for $4,000. UW Platteville, Pioneer Prairie Farm, consigned the bull.
